First State Bank is a local, full-service bank serving the communities of Nora Springs, Rockwell, Rudd, Thornton, Meservey, and Swaledale. We are actively involved in our communities and participate in a variety of programs ranging from scholarships in our schools to involvement in multiple non-profit organizations.

In 2006, we completed an extensive remodeling project and addition to our Nora Springs office and have recently added the offices of Thornton, Meservey and Swaledale. These strategic moves reflect our goal of better serving our customers and support our commitment to meet the financial needs of the North Iowa area.
